During the week, MYCL’s CEO, Adi Reza Nugroho, engaged with global climate leaders, investors, and philanthropists, highlighting the company’s groundbreaking work in transforming agricultural waste into mycelium-based leather. A key highlight of the trip included direct meetings with His Royal Highness Prince William and philanthropist Michael Bloomberg.

MYCL’s participation was supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, The Earthshot Prize, and P4G. Throughout the week, MYCL engaged with global climate leaders, investors, and donors, focusing on scaling up sustainable solutions. Notably, MYCL was selected for the ARUP Materials Accelerator Programme, gaining technical guidance and industry connections to advance sustainable construction materials.
Through participation in the Bloomberg Earthshot Impact Accelerator, hosted by London School of Economics (LSE), MYCL and other Earthshot finalists benefited from:
- Identify our ‘end game’ and strategies for investment and scale
- Understand how government policy and regulation can be levers to scale
- Engaging industry for market-wide adoption
