Introduction
"WTF! stands for Wear The Fungi, a collective of local brands with sustainable values that resonate with a global audience. Initiated by MYCL™️ - Mycotech Lab, a biomaterial company specializing in creating sustainable materials from mushroom mycelium, this collective aims to promote local brands that have incorporated Mylea™️, a leather-like material made from mycelium, into various wearable fashion items. Melbourne Fashion Week 2023 has provided MYCL™️ with a space in the heart of Melbourne to showcase the Fungi to Fashion collection from these local brands, all of which share a commitment to global sustainability, during the event of Melbourne Fashion Week.
